Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST)

PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER – (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING) POST-1

Qualifications

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from recognized institution, registered as Professional Engineer (PE) with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) with working experience of at least four (4) years in the related field.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Create electrical system designs in compliance with customer specifications, industry norms, and laws;
• Oversee electrical projects from start to finish;
• Test and assess electrical systems and their constituent parts;
• Determine and resolve electrical problems with current systems;
• Collaborate cooperatively with fellow building experts to incorporate electrical systems;
• Keep up with industry norms, standards, and laws pertaining to electrical engineering;
• Provide specs and pricing estimates for electrical work;
• Make sure internal control systems are being followed; and
• Carries out any additional tasks that the supervisor may designate.

Salary Scale: MCBSS 7
