The school was aimed at training local Chiefs, Native Authority Staff and Councilors. In 1972, the then Local Government School was merged with the Institute of Public Administration of the University of Dar es Salaam to form the Institute of Development Management (IDM-Mzumbe). IDM was a higher learning institution for training professional managers in the public and private sectors.

JOB DETAILS:
Vacancy: Three (3) Month Internship
Health Supply Chain and Supply Chain Management Related Programmes (15 Posts)
Mzumbe University (MU) and the Kuhne Foundation (KF-TZ) have partnered to implement initiatives for a four (4) year SAFA project in logistics, supply chain management, health and related fields.
Mzumbe University (Main Campus and Mbeya Campus College) has signed a collaboration agreement with KF-TZ through the SAFA project to guarantee the university’s participation in knowledge production and transfer concerning health supply chain management and sustainable logistics. MU, in partnership with KF-TZ, is inviting suitable graduates with an interest in health and logistics to apply for the aforementioned internship positions as part of the implementation of this intervention.
Qualifications
- Newly graduated individuals should ideally have done so in 2023.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement and logistics management, health systems management, or a similar discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- The applicant’s age limit is 30 years or older.
- We strongly encourage women to apply.
- Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mbeya, Songwe, and Dar es Salaam will serve as working stations.
- Candidates who are registered with the PSPTB will benefit further.
Reports to:Â Interns Coordinator.
Remuneration:Â Interns will be paid allowances in accordance to KT-TZ guidelines.
