Job Description:

To join our team, Smart Codes is looking for a proactive and analytical Graduate Trainee/Intern in Strategy. For recent graduates, this internship program offers a fantastic chance to obtain practical experience in market research, digital strategy development, and consulting within a vibrant advertising firm setting. The chosen applicant will collaborate closely with our seasoned strategy team to support client objectives and help formulate and carry out strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help clients build and implement digital marketing and business strategies that fit their goals, target market, and market dynamics.
  • To identify market opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends that will influence strategic recommendations and decision-making, conduct competition analysis, industry trend analysis, and market research.
  • Assist in producing strategic papers, presentations, and proposals for clients that include suggested approaches, techniques, and KPIs to meet objectives.
  • Evaluate campaign efficacy and find optimization opportunities by analyzing data and performance indicators from several sources, such as client data, market research reports, and digital analytics tools.
  • Work together with teams from various departments, including as account management, creative, media planning, and digital marketing, to guarantee that strategic efforts are integrated and aligned with all facets of client projects.
  • Present research results, conclusions, and suggestions to clients and internal stakeholders while taking part in strategy sessions, workshops, and client meetings.
  • Contribute to the creation of whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership materials about industry trends, best practices, and cutting-edge tactics in digital marketing and advertising.
  • To improve strategic thinking and innovation, keep up with evolving technology, trends in digital marketing, and industry advancements. Then, share your knowledge and thoughts with the team.
  • Exhibit initiative, passion, and a desire to develop personally and professionally inside the company.


  1. A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, marketing, business administration, economics, or a similar discipline. Applications from recent grads are encouraged.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to examine data, derive conclusions, and provide recommendations that can be put into practice to promote business expansion.
  3. Strong research abilities, including the capacity to compile, combine, and evaluate data from a range of sources to support tactical decision-making.
  4. proficiency with the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint versions of the Microsoft Office Suite as well as knowledge of social media analytics platforms and digital analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  5. Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly express complicated concepts and effectively communicate conclusions and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
  6. Capacity to operate both individually and together, exhibiting proactivity, inventiveness, and a proactive attitude towards education.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in a fast-moving, dynamic agency setting, along with the capacity for efficient multitasking and prioritization.

  9. While not necessary, prior internship or professional experience in strategy, consulting, market research, or digital marketing is beneficial.
