JOB SUMMARY

IFAKARA CATHOLIC DIOCESE is looking for One Motivated INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICER II who’s competent with Qualities in Technical Skills, Organizational and Communicational Skills and great knowledge in;-

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and a high degree of computer proficiency with accounting and audit software.
• The capacity for proficient oral and writing communication.
• The capacity to mentor and train partners, employees, and communities.
• the capacity to keep up with current developments in the audit industry and guarantee that best practices are constantly taken into account.
• Proficient in current understanding of modifications to International Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Capable of creating financial reports, adhering to regulations, creating budgets, using banking systems, accounting software, controlling spending, and working in a team.
• Competent in the preparation of reports on the actual and estimated customer bases, as well as routine revenue reporting and control.
• Capability to create and oversee an adaptable yearly audit strategy utilizing suitable risk-based methodology.
• Review the internal control systems that are being maintained.
• The capacity to conduct further audits and investigations as needed by the audit committee.
• The capacity to monitor the application of recommendations from internal and external audits.
• Competent in strategic business planning and management, as well as sales and marketing knowledge.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

A candidate having a bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized university, institute, or college in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline. a qualified accountant holding an accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or CIA) and at least two years of post-qualification experience in a related subject at a reputable institution, With age of not more than 45 years of Age.
