Key responsibilities:
- Oversee every accounting transaction.
- Create financial statements and budget estimates.
- Hold closings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Accounts payable and receivable reconciliation
- Assure prompt payment to banks and adherence to tax laws.
- Calculate taxes and put together tax returns.
- Examine profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Report on the liquidity and health of the company’s finances
- Respect financial rules and policies.
- Help portfolio firms prepare their weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
- Provide coworkers and management with advice on financial decisions.
- Reporting the audit’s findings to top management and the organization, additionally
- Observations
- Recognizing the risks associated with corporate processes and creating plans for risk management.
- Examine potential investments for MTI.

Qualifications/Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline
- Three years minimum of accounting and/or auditing experience
- strong analytical abilities and mastery of Microsoft Excel
- A proactive, self-starter who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and leadership.
- Outstanding familiarity with accounting rules and practices,
- Competent in workload management, productivity, and planning
- Strong English writing and vocal communication abilities
- Outstanding proficiency with computers
- Practical knowledge of accounting programs like Sage or QuickBooks.
- Desired Capabilities:
- Prior employment with one of the Big Four accounting companies (KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, or EY)
- CPA, ACCA, or a similar designation
- Understanding of IFRS
