The Sumwood Company is currently seeking a qualified and experienced STOREKEEPER with the ability to effectively manage and oversee store operations.

JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Procurement, have a minimum of 3 years of experience, and be proficient in computerized inventory management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Skills of product packing and keeping
• Load carrying capacity
• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Tanzania.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.
• Prepare and maintain reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.
• Supervise and train store staff as necessary.
• And other tasks that will be assigned by the office.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
