It is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operations using weighbridge scales.

The Regional Manager TANROADS Dodoma on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS is looking for qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant posts available for construction of four (4) bridges and its approach roads to gravel standard in Dodoma Region. TANROADS therefore intends to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill vacancy posts on specified contract for the aforementioned bridge projects in the following fields.

THE TANZANIA NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY (TANROADS)

POSITION TITTLE:  SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR (1 Post)

Entry Qualifications:

Must be a Tanzanian national with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree in either quantity surveying, building economics, or a similar discipline from an accredited institution. must hold a Professional Quantity Surveyor registration with the AQRB.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To plan the new Quantity Surveying technology’s adoption.
2. To examine claims made under contracts; to examine disputes under contracts.
3. To go over the bid documents.
4. To go over the requirements and criteria of the contract.
5. To examine the use of contract variations.
6. To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the supervisor may prescribe.
