Job Description:
You will manage the reservation/booking, ticket sales, information, and passenger operations (check-in, manifest production) services with a cordial and friendly manner.
In this role, you will compute fares, set up routes according to passenger preferences, give schedule and fare details, and make sure that everything runs smoothly for the duration of the passenger’s trip. You’ll issue tickets for both domestic and international flights and efficiently manage reservation/booking requests. You’ll also be in charge of procedures like ticket returns, rerouting, and endorsement.
You will greet guests with warmth as soon as the plane lands and assist in ensuring that the crew, handling agent, catering, cleaning, air traffic, customs, and immigration all coordinate and communicate efficiently. You’ll make sure that all required flight records are kept up to date, arrange daily catering services, and compile all required flight documentation precisely and thoroughly. You’ll be in charge of accurately submitting paperwork and analyzing flight coupons statistically after the flight.
When a bag goes missing, you’ll work closely with the handling agent to find the missing things and return them to their owners. You will adhere to the compensation procedure as needed.
You will report and register operational income, cost, financing, and financial statistical data in pertinent IT systems like SAP, ERP, and DOP to support efficient management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree, or at the very least a high school diploma.
- Permit for permanent residency in the relevant nation (work permits are not provided by or assisted by the company).
- A minimum of one year’s experience in tourism or civil aviation.
- The capacity to perform well under duress.
- Good command of the English language and competence in the local language or languages.
- Willingness to work in shifts, even late at night.
- An autonomous worker when necessary but also a team participant.
- The capacity to manage several tasks at once and multitask well.
- Excellent familiarity and understanding of a significant computer reservation system (knowledge of Troya or Quickres is advantageous).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Shown the capacity for responsible decision-making as well as a sense of accountability.
