OVERALL ROLE:
To support the team in organizing and managing audit tasks so that they can be completed to a high standard within the predetermined time frame and budget. The candidate must also have a strong work ethic, be dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and produce work that satisfies the professional and ethical standards of the firm while fostering organizational success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the supervision of an audit engagement and may be in charge of small, straightforward audits that include pre-audit planning and preparation, risk identification, and an initial assessment of the client’s internal control structure to find gaps and areas that management should take into account and improve;
- Examine the information gathered and keep a thorough journal of the outcomes;
- Helps with the planning stage of audits, including audit tests utilizing the company’s audit methodology, making sure that important issues missed during preparation are brought to the client management team’s notice and aiding in evaluation;
- Meets established reporting and auditing criteria by completing assigned duties to a high standard;
