JOB VACANCY: The latest Jobs in HOD: Ajira Mpya – Nafasi za kazi Customer Experience Systems at Vodacom

Role purpose: 

Within the Vodacom Tanzania Billing and IT Group, this role will oversee the management of all customer experience systems and procedures. The primary responsibilities of the role will be staff development, end-to-end administration of the Customer Experience Systems environment, and the implementation of governance structures, policies, and procedures in relation to associated customer experience applications.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 

  • Watch over and handle the systems for customer administration:
  • assuring the availability of customer administration systems, managing customer issues and addressing customer incidents, guaranteeing the accuracy of customer data, supplying information to assist distribution channels, and managing the distribution of SIM cards and vouchers.
  • Manage and Keep an Eye on Contact Center Systems:
  • guaranteeing the availability of contact centers, retail systems, social media platforms, handling customer incidents and problem solving, guaranteeing the accuracy of customer data, assisting contact centers and retail channels by offering pertinent information, managing customer calls, and offering self-help options for customers.
  • Observe and oversee the administration of tariffs and billing:
  • Tariff configuration and administration to satisfy company needs; accounting for billing; wholesale and retail billing; creation of postpaid bills; and management of numbering plans.
  • Supervise and Direct the Administration of International Roaming:
  • Roaming Value Added Services administration, liaison with the Clearing House regarding TAP processes and NRTRDE, administration of new roaming partners, configuration and testing of new roaming networks, testing the functionality of existing networks, management of Transferred Accounting Procedures (TAP) for both inbound and outbound roamers
  • Accounting for Finances:
  • oversight and management of the Customer Experience Systems Division’s spending and budget.
  • Management of Human Resources:
  • enhancing abilities, managing performance, and growing the Customer Experience Systems Division.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience 

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology along with suitable professional experience.
  • Five to ten years of minimum job experience in a setting that involves billing and customer experience
  • Five years or more of managerial experience required in a Telco customer administration setting
  • Proficiency with GSM billing accounting, billing administration, contact center systems, and billing systems

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced familiarity with GSM products, GSM CRM Billing and Contact Center systems, and GSM core network components.
  • Computer literacy includes having a solid grasp of Microsoft Office and having an understanding of SQL and database designs, which are important for contact center and CRM systems.
