The Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) was established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on the 1st January, 1994. As a designated public postal operator, TPC is obligated to abide by universal services obligation (USO) which mandates the Corporation to provide accessible, affordable, and reliable postal services to the people of the United Republic of Tanzania in all corners of this country.

VACANCY: CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER II – 2 Post

Entry Qualifications

• Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields:

Marketing, Economics, Commerce or Business Administration majoring in Marketing or Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Duties and responsibilities

• To respond to questions by elaborating on the details needed; finding, gathering, and supplying information;
• To help resolve difficulties through issue clarification, answer and alternative solution research, solution implementation, problem escalation, and other means;
• To satisfy demands by sending requests, executing transactions, and providing the needed clarification.
• To upsell accounts by identifying opportunities and describing new features in order to sell more services.
• To maintain equipment functionality by adhering to specified protocols, reporting issues,
• To stay current with work knowledge by taking use of educational opportunities;
• To improve the organization’s reputation by taking responsibility for fulfilling novel and unique demands, looking for ways to elevate job achievements, and
• To carry out any additional tasks that your supervisor may assign you.

Salary Scale: TPCSS 4

Age Limit: Not more than thirty years (30) years.

• The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) should verify certificates from international examination bodies for either Ordinary or Advanced level education.
• The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) should verify professional diplomas from foreign universities and other training institutions.
• Either in Swahili or English, a signed application letter should be addressed to the Postmaster General of Tanzania Posts Corporation. Postal Box 9551, Dar es Salaam, and it needs to be shipped via “EMS.”
• The date of the interview will only be communicated to the shortlisted candidates; and
