The Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) was established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on the 1st January, 1994. As a designated public postal operator, TPC is obligated to abide by universal services obligation (USO) which mandates the Corporation to provide accessible, affordable, and reliable postal services to the people of the United Republic of Tanzania in all corners of this country.

Entry Qualifications

possessing a bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in marketing or entrepreneurship, among other subjects. majoring in marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field in commerce or business administration from an accredited university or institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• to look for income from advertising;
• To market things that promote cooperation;
• To follow up with clients for TV and radio regarding payments;
• To offer pertinent data regarding the functionality of Cooperation products;
• To offer suggestions regarding how to improve underperforming items;
• In order to prevent sales to defaulters;
• To market program sponsorship and offer related cooperation products;
• To teach, allocate, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline the sales force in the designated region in order to meet regional sales goals;
• To meet operational goals for regional sales by providing data and recommendations about regional sales to strategic plans and reviews; creating and carrying out action plans; putting production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards into practice; fixing issues; finishing audits; seeing patterns; figuring out how to improve the regional sales system; enacting change;
• To meet financial targets for regional sales by projecting needs, creating an annual budget, planning expenses, identifying discrepancies, and starting corrective action;
• To create a sales plan and quota for each region in order to set sales targets that complement corporate goals;
• To sustain and grow the clientele in each of the TPC offices within their respective area; cultivate and uphold relationships with important clients; recognize and seize new business prospects; and
• To perform additional tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor that are relevant to their expertise.

Salary Scale: TPCSS 4
