Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Management

  • Find lucrative business possibilities to increase income and market share.
  • Create company strategy, evaluate possible opportunities, and maximize business development.
  • Observe sales, business, and activity plans in accordance with the authorized spending plan.
  • Examine rivals’ actions to gain a tactical edge.
  • responsible for positioning, brand support, and market analysis.
  • Determine and reduce commercial risks in every department of the company.
  • Participate in the creation of novel goods and services.

2. Client Relationship and Stakeholder Management

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a similar discipline (a master’s degree is preferred).
  • Professional credentials in marketing and sales.
  • Seven years minimum of senior management experience, ideally in the energy industry.
  • It is beneficial to have prior experience in the Tanzanian or East African petroleum industry.
  • Expertise in financial management, good budget management, and setting up metrics.
  • Experience in leadership combined with in-depth understanding of sales, company development, and marketing concepts.
  • Analytical abilities and the capacity to decipher data on market trends and sales success.
  • A track record of success in building and leading high-performing management teams.
  • A track record of demonstrating strategic development and implementation.
  • Capacity to comprehend shifting market dynamics and put strategies into action for predetermined goals.
  • Atrong sense of business and a thorough comprehension of the strategic selling and marketing process.
  • Competent, self-assured writer and speaker with a strong sense of honesty.
