Job Summary

The main purpose is to drive Loan and Advances, Deposit and alternative product growth at branch. This entails managing of all Sales Activities, Supporting, monitoring and training of Branch Sales Officers in all the respective branches.

Job Description​

A. Business Soliciting – Acquisition/Recruitment

  • Acquisition and Recruitment of Customers
  • Visit current clients on a regular basis
  • Make that every client acquisition point is operational at all times.
  • To improve the clientele’s experience
  • Determine the sectors and places that are important for local company expansion.
  • locating, enticing, verifying, and assessing potential clients’ risks before approaching them to open an account
  • Collaborate with your business development partner to start the process of developing items that are appropriate for the specific area.
  • Provide the Head of Customer Network with regular input regarding the effectiveness of various products and services at the relevant branches.
  • In order to comprehend retail potential from their clients, interact with the Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and Business Banking (BB) divisions (One Bank Concept)
  • Respond to consumer inquiries about business-related issues.

B.     Deposit Mobilization

  • actively comprehending the local business environment and making use of it to increase deposit.
  • Oversee the branch’s whole deposit mobilization effort.
  • Actively and consistently ask all of the bank’s clients for deposits in order to reach the deposit goals of the bank.
  • Diligently adhering to the tasks listed on the branch activity calendar

C.    Cross selling

  • Cross-selling of all bank products, including Internet, mobile, and agent banking as well as insurance, deposit products, loan products, FX, transfer, and more.
  • Gathering market intelligence data on regional rivals, goods, and service standards

D.   Relationship Management

  • Lead the branches’ consumer engagement initiatives.
  • Interacting with current and future customers of the bank in order to gain their trust and foster a sense of loyalty
  • Locating possible customers and developing a plan to include them in the NBC customer base through educational gatherings and product talks
  • Establishing, growing, and preserving long-term connections with all of the targeted clients through dialogue, problem-sharing, and cooperative problem-solving
  • Oversee client business dealings, take part in social events for business clients, and oversee all customer interactions that the bank has.
  • Upkeep of newly acquired business to guarantee client engagement and lower attrition

E.  Reports, Monitoring &  Turnaround

  • Keep a database of the branch’s high-net-worth clients.
  • Tracking branch business expansion with KPI
  • Loan approval time for loans and assistance with recovery
  • In charge of the Branch’s retail loans’ PAR and NPL
  • Assisting Branch-level recovery efforts and providing data and inputs to Stressed Asset Management Units

F.   Coaching and Mentoring

  • Coach and mentor the branch Sales team on regular basis
  • Monitor and report performance as per agreed KPIs

Other duties

  • Take part in branch budgeting for all operations pertaining to sales.
  • Completed additional tasks as directed by the branch manager.
  • Create a range of reports and business plans and submit them for management’s approval.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three years of experience in banking
  • Broad familiarity with bank regulations and banking practices (product knowledge)

Knowledge,  Skills and competences required:  

  • Effective management of customer service
  • Awareness of Customer Handling
  • Human Resource Management
  • Knowledge of Bank Products Analytical abilities
  • Selling and upselling abilities
  • Knowledge about BOT Regulation
  • Hazard Assessment
