ELCT NORTHERN DIOCESE SACCOS

The ELCT ND SACCOS LTD is a Savings and Credit Cooperative Society established in 1994 and registered on 27.07.1995 in accordance with the Cooperative Societies Act number 15 of 1991 under the name ELCT-ND Savings and Credit Cooperative Society LTD and registration number PRI-KJR-MSH-MC-2022-477. The headquarters of ELCT ND SACCOS is located in Kilimanjaro Region – Moshi Urban with the following Branches:- Moshi, Himo, Mwika, Hai, Arusha, Karatu and Tabora serving more than fifteen thousand (15,000) Members in Tanzania.

WORK OPPORTUNITY

ELCT ND SACCOS is announcing a temporary position (135) for a “Sales Officer” with ability, creativity, knowledge and experience in the sector of financial cooperatives, especially SACCOS, to help make sales and to advertise the services and products of ELCT ND SACCOS in various areas in accordance with the joint commitment as in the Terms. The Sales Officer will be responsible in the Marketing Department and will be paid in “COMMISSION” according to the agreement of the Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SALES OFFICER

The Sales Officer will have the following responsibilities:

• Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
• To browse and visit the assigned areas to present the services and products of ELCT ND SACCOS to potential customers.
• Assist management in identifying appropriate marketing strategies and pricing for ELCT ND SACCOS products and services.
• Displaying service and product features to Members and non-Members.
• Communicating with Leaders and making appointments to deliver ELCT ND SACCOS products.
• Attending trade shows and other events related to the industry for the sale of services and products of ELCT ND SACCOS.
• Prepare sales proposals for prospective Members.
• Completing regular sales reports detailing the number of sales made.
• To ensure that all Members registered with ELCT ND SACCOS use the services and products of the Association.
• Providing education on services and products of ELCT ND SACCOS to various stakeholders, especially areas with economic activities.
• To perform other tasks assigned by his supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must be 18 years old and older
• Be a Tanzanian;
• He should have Education at least starting from Certificate (Certificate) onwards
• Must have experience in marketing at least one (1) year
• He should be able to manage himself
• He should be creative and have the skills to implement his creativity in all matters related to the sale of ELCT ND SACCOS products and services.
• Have knowledge of the use of computer systems and equipment
• Those who have knowledge of the Administration of the Savings and Credit Cooperative Association in accordance with the Cooperative Law of 2013 will be given priority.
