TANZANIA RAILWAYS CORPORATION (TRC)

Tanzania Railways Corporation is a Public Institution established under the Railway Act No. 10 of 2017. The main objective of TRC is to provide rail Transport services and to develop, promote and manage rail infrastructure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To notify travelers of anticipated train arrivals and departures.
• To address grievances, questions, and requests from travelers or clients, as well as any other pertinent information.
• Advertise the company’s goods and services.
• Determine client needs and desires.
• Provide clients with product brochures.
• Inform customers about shipping and cost.
• Offer potential fixes anytime a service isn’t working properly.
• Inform clients about the specials and promotions the business is running.
• Give clients the warmest welcome possible and enquire about their issue or caller’s purpose.
• Aid in the sale of goods and services.
• Give clients safe education.
• To carry out any additional pertinent tasks that the supervisor may assign.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

A diploma in business administration with a marketing concentration, entrepreneurship, or marketing-related coursework from accredited universities would suffice. It is required to be computer literate.
