We are currently seeking ambitious, dynamic, and results-oriented individuals to fill the following vacancy:
Position: Supervisor – Mining
Contract type & Duration: Open-ended contract
Department: Open Pit Mining
Reporting to: Senior Supervisor – Mining
Number of Positions: One (1)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Supervisor – Mining assists the Senior Supervisor – Production by overseeing load and haul operations in line with the daily mining plan, ensuring safe and productive utilization of mining equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Certificate of Secondary Education.
- Possession of a valid LV driving permit.

EXPERIENCE:
- At least 10 years of mining experience with proven proficiency in operating at least three primary open-pit mining equipment types.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and Tanzanian Laws.
- Ensure completion of company projects within set timelines, budget, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical advice on project design and construction.
- Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety protocols.
- Manage customer relationships and team performance.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and performance.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Supervise daily mining activities to achieve production targets.
- Maintain effective communication and handover of tasks during shift changes.
- Report incidents and safety concerns promptly.
SAFETY:
- Report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Halt work if conditions are unsafe.
- Report any unsafe acts or practices.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
- Self-motivated and committed to teamwork.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
