What you’ll do

Role purpose: 

• Overall M-Pesa Product Performance Evaluation
• Provide data-driven insights into all product elements (customers, consumption, uptake, opportunities for improvement, lifetime).
• Provide insights that can help management make decisions.
• Improve existing reports and create new ones to satisfy business and regulatory needs.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

• Data Analytics and Insights
• Identify useful measures for measuring product performance.
• Prepare and distribute analytical reports to help evaluate product performance.
• Analyze, extract, and communicate meaning from data.
• Sharing and presenting facts, trends, discoveries, and recommendations to help make business decisions.
• Usage Drive Support
• Provide assistance to commercial teams in increasing product adoption and usage.
• Liaise with third parties to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of commercial tasks.
• Reporting and Forecasting
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of product reports to relevant parties.
• Implement, examine, improve, and automate periodic and ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to ensure ongoing reporting relevance.
• Process and Control
• Document and review the reporting and control processes.
• Ensure that the reporting process is continuous.

• Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills based on market understanding.
• Excellent communication abilities.

• Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.

Must have technical/professional qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, or information technology.
• Good knowledge of data science

• Exposure to large datasets would be useful.
• Interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.
