JOB SUMMARYNIL

The Executive Director of the Hai District Council announces to all Tanzanians who have the qualifications and interest to work in the Hai District Council to apply for the job position mentioned below, after receiving permission with Ref. And. FA.228/613/01/022 dated 08.12.2023 from the Secretary General, Office of the President, Service Management and Good Governance.

VACANCY: CLASS II DRIVER (1 POSITION)

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE APPLICANT

  • Requires completion of Form Four (IV) Education
  • Hold a Class C or E driver’s license and have worked accident-free for a minimum of a year.
  • He had to have taken a government-approved basic driving course, such as one provided by VETA, NIT, or another.

JOB DUTIES

  • Examining the car to ascertain its safety both before and after the drive;
  • Sending workers on journeys for work;
  • Performing minor auto maintenance;
  • Gathering and disseminating many kinds of documents;
  • Completing the trip book and maintaining its contents; and
  • Washing the vehicle.

SALARY LEVEL: The Salary Level is TGS B

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • All applicants should be citizens of Tanzania and not more than 45 years old except for those who are working in the government;
  • All applicants must attach a birth certificate attested by a Lawyer/Attorney.
  • Applicants who are already public servants and have obtained qualifications to enter different cadres than they have, should forward their job application letters to their Employers and the Employers should satisfy themselves accordingly.
  • Applicants should attach a detailed C.V with reliable addresses and phone numbers as well as the names of three reliable referees.
  • All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates, information, copies of certificates certified by a lawyer/Attorney which are birth certificates, Form Four, Form Six for those who have reached that level, and certificates of various training based on the qualifications of the relevant work.
  • Testmonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, form four and six result documents (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
  • Applicants who studied outside of Tanzania should ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE).
  • Applicants retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Chief Secretary.
  • Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the public service should not apply and should follow the instructions contained in the Circular and CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
  • Submission of information and falsified characteristics of the parties will be taken legal action.
  • The deadline for sending job applications is February 25th, 2024.
