JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
- Apex Workforce Solutions is searching for a motivated and results-oriented individual to join the team as a Sales Driver on behalf of our esteemed customer in the FMCG and distribution industries.
- In this position, your duties will include delivering goods to clients and using one-on-one interactions with clients to increase product sales.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with merchandise in a prompt, courteous manner.
- Create and pursue sales leads in order to boost product sales.
- Create and preserve relationships with customers to guarantee recurring business.
- Deliver outstanding customer care and address any problems or concerns raised by customers.
- Maintain current, accurate sales and delivery records.
- Ensure the delivery truck is kept orderly and clean. Ability to handle and move large objects; Observe all traffic and safety laws when operating a vehicle Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities Thorough familiarity with the area and its routes Proficiency in both individual and collaborative work environments Knowledge of sales tactics and approaches Prior work experience in a sales or delivery capacity Understanding of fundamental auto maintenance and repair
Requirements
- In addition to having a current driver’s license and a spotless driving record, the ideal applicant will have a solid background in sales.
- Education: A diploma or degree in a particular field of study
- Experience: A successful track record and proven sales experience
- Capacity to raise and move bulky objects strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Strong familiarity with the area and routes
- Capacity to function both alone and collaboratively knowledge of sales tactics and strategies
- Prior work experience in a delivery or sales capacity familiarity with basic auto maintenance and repair
