Position Title:Administration/Facilities Office,
Experience 3-5 or above
Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for all administrative work of the company Including Insurance renewal and claims, rent agreement and payments, general facility operations and administrative support

Key Priorities and Duties:

Insurance Renewals and Claims:

  • Manage the renewal of insurance policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and comply with company standards.
  • Handle insurance claims, including documentation, communication with insurers, and follow-through to ensure timely settlements.
  • Evaluate insurance options and recommend changes or updates as necessary.

Rent Agreements and Payments:

  • Negotiate and renew rent agreements for office space and equipment, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Keep track of rent payment schedules and coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments
  • Address any issues related to office space, maintenance, or facilities.

General Facility Operations:

  • Oversee and manage facilities including security, housekeeping, environment, and safety of employees.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks of the office, such as filing, recordkeeping, and document management.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff as needed.
  • Follow up on all Vodacom and Internet related task
  • Handle any other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.

Selection Criteria: Essential

Bachelor in Business Administration or related field

Experience in Administrative works, Insurance renewals, Facility Management

Basic IT / computer

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem‐solving skills.
  • Demonstrated cultural respect and understanding of issues facing culturally diverse communities.
  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work when required.

Desirable for all posts

  • Demonstrated experience in working with socially excluded communities and awareness of issues facing Culturally diverse communities in regions such as East Africa.
