System Users:-

  • Applicant;

The applicant will be able to register for an account on the system, attach required documents (like their academic transcript), view and apply for posted positions, view and print their resume, and subscribe and unsubscribe to job alerts.

  • Expert;

Experts possessing specialized knowledge and abilities will be able to register and attach various papers, including activity certifications.

  • Guest;

Although they haven’t registered yet, guests have access to all posted jobs, the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe to job alerts, and the ability to browse all listed posts.

Home Page

The Recruitment portal home page is the starting point of your application journey.

  • The following features are found at the homepage.
    • Home  – Return  you to the home page
    • Vacancies – shows a list of all open positions. This list can be filtered using the following criteria: job description, job category, opening and closing dates
    • Log in – This enables the user to create new applications, finish their profile, sign up for job notifications, and check in to their current account.
    • Register – Before applying for a position, a user must first register and create an account on the recruitment platform.
    • Feedback – If users run across any issues or problems that require the administrator’s attention or clarifications, they can communicate by using the Feedback link.
    • Application general conditions – This shows all the conditions which applicants should comply with.

Creating an Account

Click on the ‘Register’ button on the recruitment portal home page.

  • Enter your password and email address, which will be used to log in to the system as your username and password, respectively. To proceed with the registration procedure, click the “Register” button.

Important things to note:

  • Verify that the password was entered accurately by checking it. You will receive a confirmation email with an activation link at the email address you have provided if your account creation is successful. Make sure this email appears in your inbox by opening it.
  • Email shall be the primary method of communication between the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) and applicants.
  • Make sure you register using a unique, secure email address that you check frequently. You will only need to register once in order to apply to any of the portal’s many open positions.
  • Please make careful to safeguard and never share your password.

Dashboard

Applicant Profile

The following tabs will be used to enter the applicant’s information: Computer Literacy, Referees, Personal Details, Contact Details, Academic Qualification, Professional Qualification, Language Proficiency, Working Experience, Training & Workshop Attended, and Declaration.

In order to increase your chances of being considered for the next step (being shortlisted), make sure your profile is complete. The system tracks your profile completion (percentage of completion) automatically as you fill out the information in the tabs mentioned above; you can fill out the information at any time, regardless of whether there are any vacancies. You can view the percentage of your profile completion on the Dashboard.

You could be prompted to upload supporting documents to use with your applications when filling out profile forms. Ensure that you scan each document independently and save it in PDF format, as this is the format that the recruitment portal supports the most.

Personal Details

The applicant’s name, gender, nationality, date and place of birth, and other information will be displayed under the personal details tab, as indicated below. Once the right National Identity Number has been submitted and verified, the applicant’s information will be retrieved.

Contact details

You will need to enter your current and postal address, phone number, and other pertinent contact details. To upload your data into the system, click save.

You can store your scanned academic certificates in PDF format on this tab. The following levels of education are included in these qualifications: postgraduate, master’s, doctorate, advanced, advanced diploma, certificate, full technician, and degree.

Fill in all the required information by following these steps:

  1. Select education level
  2. Select the country of study
  3. Choose the relevant “Programme Category.” (Selecting the appropriate category guarantees that the program names linked to a particular category will appear.)
  4. Choose the relevant “Programme Name.” This need to match the text on the particular certificate you are attempting to submit. If you are unable to locate your “Programme Name,” it is likely that you selected the wrong category. In this case, select a different, more relevant program category and run your search through the “Programme Name” one more time to locate the correct name.
  5. Click or input the name of the institution. Enter the entire name if the institution’s name is not available; no acronyms are permitted.
  6. Enter the beginning and ending dates.
  7. Put your certificate attached. Make sure the certificate you attach is no more than two megabytes.
  8. To submit the modifications into the system, click save.

Note: 

  • It is necessary for you to enter every certificate separately.
  • Make sure you enter the correct index number when entering CSE and ACSE information.
  • A certificate verification letter or certificate from NECTA (for secondary education), NACTE (for diploma and certificates), or TCU (for university study) is necessary for those who have studied outside of Tanzania.

Applicants who have misplaced their credentials must fill out the necessary information and declare that their certificates have been lost. The system will be able to fill in additional pertinent information for them after this is filled out.

Make sure that you enter your examination index number and year of completion correctly.

Once the information in the box displaying your certificate is accurate, click the “confirm & save” button to upload the updated data into the system.

Professional qualifications such as CPA, ERB, CCNA, CISA, CISM, medical practice licenses, driver’s license (for drivers), advocacy practice licenses, etc. must be filled out in this tab along with the name of the corresponding qualification and the name of the institution that issued it. A scanned copy of the certificate in PDF format must also be attached.

After completing all required fields, click the “save” button to upload the modifications to the system.

Language Proficiency

The candidate must list the languages they are proficient in along with their varying levels of skill.

Choose the language you wish to fill in, then choose the speaking, reading, and writing ability level. To upload modifications to the system, click the “save” button.

You will be able to apply for any open positions as soon as you have completed your profile to a minimum of 70%.

  1. Click on “Vacancies” to select it from the main menu.
  2. After that, you can use any combination of the search phrase and Category criteria to look for a particular position. Please take note that applying for the selected post will require you to log in if you are not already.
  3. All the information pertaining to a certain role, such as the qualifications, duties and responsibilities, salary scale, and other pertinent factors, may be found under the “more details” button.
  4. Press the “apply” button.
  5. After reading the information shown and confirming that it is accurate, click the “confirm” button to complete the application process. You can also upload a signed application letter.

Note:

  • Applications will not be accepted for positions that have already closed and are marked as “CLOSED” by the system.
  • If you haven’t updated your NIDA information on the site, you won’t be allowed to apply for a job.
  • Make sure you have signed your application letter.

My Applications

You can view all of the job applications you have filled out by going to “My Applications.” You will be able to track the progress of every application you submit, from the beginning to the end.

The application status will allow you to view the following information:

  1. Whether or not your application was received. You must reapply if the position you applied for is not shown in this list, which indicates that you did not finish the application process.
  2. Whether you have been shortlisted or not shortlisted. Should you not make the short list, we’ll let you know why.

Register to Jobs Alert

You can sign up to get updates about job openings via email and SMS as soon as they are announced. Click “Register to Job Alerts” and select the categories you want to get job alerts in to start using this service. You will receive an alert as soon as there is a vacancy in your subscribed category because job openings are advertised by category. You have the option to get notifications via SMS or email, or both.

After making your selections for the desired categories and alert mode, click “subscribe.”

By using the “unsubscribe” button, you can cancel your subscription to any of the services at any time.

Forgot password
